Exploring an unknown path in his home country of Nicaragua in 1995, Noel Castillo began to explore the opportunity of innovation to modernize the livestock industry.
Following his family's legacy with over 90 years of experience in cattle breeding, Noel recognized the enormous potential of genetic science to transform not only his business but the entire sector.
This realization motivated him to study livestock genetics in the United States, acquiring specialized knowledge that made him one of the pioneers in this field in his country.

In 2001, Noel founded Progenética de Nicaragua, introducing advanced genetic products to the Nicaraguan market, such as high-quality semen.
By 2006, the company had already incorporated cutting-edge technologies like embryo transfer and sexed semen, consolidating Progenética as a regional leader in technological innovation.
In 2019, Progenética was established in Florida, USA.

His vast experience, especially with the Brahman breed and his participation in international cattle competitions, propelled Progenética to become a leader in consulting for optimizing cattle, goat, and sheep genetics.
Currently, Progenética is venturing into the breeding of Senepol cattle through its farm, La Macarena, located in Marianna, Florida. This has allowed not only the expansion into new markets but also the ability to offer exceptional livestock directly.
For Noel, the outlook for the future is filled with optimism, driven by his relentless desire to innovate and offer the sector the best alternatives, thus contributing to the sustainability of livestock farming for generations to come.
